MEBICAR (Adaptol, Mebicarum) is an anxiolytic similar to organism natural metabolites with nootropic and stress-protective characteristics. DESCRIPTION

Mebicar belongs to a group of non-benzodizepam tranquilizers. It works by effecting on the structure of limbic-reticular activity and 4 main neuromediator systems &ndash &gamma aminobutyric acid, choline -, serotonin- and adrenergic. Mebicar increases serotonin levels, decreases noradrenaline level with no effect on dopamine and no anticholinergic activity. It is used to eliminate anxiety, fear, an internal emotional pressure and irritability. Tranquilizing effect is not accompanied by myorelaxation and disturbance of movement coordination, mental or physical activity. Mebicar has no direct hypnotic effect, but it normalizes duration of the disturbed sleep patterns. Mebicar also provides nootropic effect: increases the mental capacity, attention and performance.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE

Active substance: mebicar 300mg.

Excipients: povidone (polyvinylpyrrolidone, high molecular weight) - 1,5mg Calcium stearate - 1,5mg

For oral administration. Usual dose is 300-900mg 2-3 times/day with or without meals. Maximum single dose is 3000mg, maximum day dose - 10000mg. Treatment course duration - from several days to 2-3 months according to the patients condition.
