Strattera (Atomoxetine) acts on certain chemicals in the brain which are responsible for hyperactive behaviour and the ability to control impulses. It is used in combination with counselling and therapy to treat patients affected by ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

The anxiolytic (tranquilizing) agent of the non-benzodiazepine series also has an antidepressant effect. Unlike classical anxiolytics, it does not have antiepileptic, sedative, hypnotic and muscle relaxant effects.
