Quick Overview

Centrum A-Zn (from A to Zinc) is a combined multivitamin preparation with macro- and microelements, the action of which is determined by the complex of vitamins and minerals that make up its composition.Retinol (vitamin A) and beta-carotene are powerful antioxidants that protect cellular structures from destruction by free radicals. Participate in the formation of visual pigments ensure the integrity of epithelial tissues, regulate the growth of bones.Tocopherol (vitamin E) is an antioxidant. Provides protection of unsaturated fatty acids in membranes from lipoperoxidation. It participates in the formation of intercellular substance, fibers of connective tissue, smooth musculature of vessels, digestive tract. Supports the cardiovascular system in a healthy state, ensures the normal functioning of the musculature.Colecaceferol (vitamin D3) regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, as well as the process of building the structure of bones promotes the absorption of calcium in the intestine.Vitamins of group B are involved in energy production by the body and in metabolism, strengthen the nervous system.Thiamin (vitamin B1) as a coenzyme is involved in carbohydrate metabolism, the functioning of the nervous system (a necessary factor for the transmission of a nerve impulse).Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is the most important catalyst in the processes of cellular respiration and visual perception.Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) as an integral part of coenzyme A plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation of carbohydrates and fats.Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) as a coenzyme takes part in the metabolism of amino acids and proteins in the synthesis of neurotransmitters.Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), together with folic acid, is involved in the synthesis of nucleotides takes part in the formation of erythrocytes and cells of nerve membranes, is necessary for the growth of the body.Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) is involved in the processes of tissue respiration, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) provides collagen synthesis participates in the metabolism of folic acid and iron, plays an important role in the synthesis of steroid hormones and catecholamines, strengthens the immune system.Biotin (vitamin H) plays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fatty acids.Folic acid is necessary for normal erythropoiesis takes part in the synthesis of amino acids.Phytomenadione (vitamin K) takes part in the processes of blood clotting.Iron is involved in erythropoiesis, as a part of hemoglobin it provides oxygen transport to tissues.Calcium is necessary for the formation of bone tissue and teeth provides blood clotting processes.Zinc is involved in the metabolism of nucleic acids, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, hormones.Potassium is involved in maintaining intracellular osmotic pressure, in the processes of conducting nerve impulses plays an important role in metabolism and muscle function, incl. myocardium.Magnesium promotes muscle relaxation, utilization of vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium.Phosphorus plays an important role in metabolic processes, energy metabolism, formation of bone tissue, in growth processes.Copper is involved in tissue respiration, hematopoiesis, immune reactions.Iodine is necessary for the synthesis of hormones and the proper functioning of the thyroid gland.Chromium is involved in the regulation of blood glucose levels and the hormonal status of the body.Manganese affects the development of bone tissue, participates in tissue respiration, immune reactions.Molybdenum is involved in redox reactions, it can act as an enzyme cofactor.Selenium is involved in the regulation of tissue elasticity, has an antioxidant effect.Nickel is an important element in the composition of biological systems (it is believed that it is a part of specific metalloenzymes).Silicon participates in the processes of development and maintenance of connective tissue function, it is necessary for the biosynthesis of collagen and the process of mineralization of bones. Biotin and silicon are necessary to maintain a healthy state of hair, skin and nails.Vanadium helps maintain a stable state of hemoglobin, participates in the processes of growth and reproductive function.
