DESCRIPTION

Dimercaprol (Unithiol) enters the liver through blood flow and irreversibly gets bound to acetaldehyde eliminating alcohol form other organs and tissues. Zorex also activates alcohol dehydrogenases enhancing the process of alcohol oxidation and disintoxication of toxic agents of liver enzyme system. Calcium Pantonthenate is quickly absorbed from the intestinal tract and decomposing releases pantothenic acid which participates in carbohydrates and fat metabolism, stimulates corticosteroids generation and enhances regeneration.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE

Zorex comes in the form of gelatin capsules. Each capsule contains active ingredients:

Dimercaprol monohydrate (Unithiol) 250 mg and Calcium Pantothenate 10 mg.

Capsules are to be taken orally 30 minutes before meals with water and without chewing.

For withdrawal prevention: 1 capsule after drinking alcohol (250mg + 10mg) at night before going to bed.

For treating alcohol withdrawal syndrome: 1 capsule (250mg + 10mg) 1-2 times a day. If necessary, daily dose may be increased to 750mg, frequency to 3 times a day. Take the medication for 3-7 days until the symptoms of intoxication disappear.

For treating chronic alcoholism: 1 capsule (250mg + 10mg) 1-2 times a day for 10 days.

For treating poisoning with arsenic compound or slats of heavy metals: 500-1000 mg divided over 2-3 intakes a day for 7-10 days.
