OFTALMOFERON (Interferon Alpha-2b + Diphenhydramine) are eye drops containing an antiviral and immunomodulatory agent - human recombinant interferon alpha-2b and an antihistamine agent - diphenhydramine. Human recombinant interferon alpha-2b has a broad spectrum of antiviral activity, immunomodulatory, antiproliferative action. Diphenhydramine - a blocker of H1-histamine receptors - has an antiallergic effect, reduces edema and itching of the conjunctiva.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE

1 ml of eye drops contains:

Active ingredients: Human recombinant interferon alpha-2 - not less than 10,000 ME, diphenhydramine - 0.001 g, boric acid - 0.0031 g.



Excipients: Polyvinylpyrrolidone - 0.01 g,

polyethylene oxide - 0.05 g, Trilon B - 0.0004 g, hypromellose - 0.003 g, sodium chloride - 0.004 g, sodium acetate - 0.007 g.

In the acute stage of the disease, Oftalmoferon is used in the form of instillations in the eyes, 1-2 drops up to 6-8 times a day. As the inflammatory process stops, the number of instillations is reduced to 2-3 times a day.

STORAGE

The eye drops should be stored in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2-8 degrees Celcius.
