BIOTREDIN (L-Threonine + Pyridoxine Vitamin B6) is a regulator of tissue metabolism, increases mental performance, has a therapeutic effect in alcohol withdrawal state, reduces craving for alcohol. L-threonine in the presence of pyridoxine (vitamin B6) breaks down into the amino acid glycine and acetaldehydel. Biotredin kicks into action 10-20 minutes after administration under the tongue.

DESCRIPTION

Biotredin is given to children, adolescents and adults who suffer from reduced mental performance and concentration. The drug is prescribed to alcohol abusers, patients with chronic alcoholism, combined with affective (irritability, low mood, internal discomfort), sensory (hunger) and ideatorial (thoughts about alcohol) disorders.

PACKAGING

BIOTREDIN comes in the form of tablets for oral administration:

105 mg - 30 tabs/pack



Active ingredients:

L-Threonine - 100 mg

Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) - 5 mg



Excipients:

Low molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone (povidone) - 4 mg, citric acid monohydrate - 6.83 mg, magnesium stearate - 1.17 mg.

DOSAGE

Tablets to be taken under the tongue.

To enhance attention and mental performance:

1 tablet 2-3 times a day for 3-10 days. If necessary, repeat the course 3-4 times or more per year.

Treat chronic alcoholism and alcohol abuse:

1-3 tablets to take 2-3 times a day for 4-5 days. If necessary, courses are repeated 5-10 times a year.

Treatment of alcohol withdrawal syndrome:

1-4 tablets are prescribed on the first day 3-4 times a day (daily dose of 3-16 tablets), on the second day and then 1-2 tablets per reception 2-3 times a day (daily dose 3 - 6 tablets) for 21-28 days. The duration of the course can be shortened to 10-14 days.

Greatest effect of Biotredin is achieved when it is combined with the drug Glycine. Glycine is taken under the tongue 10-15 minutes before taking Biotredin.

Dizziness, increased sweating, allergic reactions with intolerance to vitamin B6.
