Ozempic is a self-injectable medication that contains the active ingredient, semaglutide. Previously, it has been prescribed ‘off label’ for weight loss, but it is licensed in the UK for treating type 2 diabetes. Semaglutide is available as a weight loss injection under the brand name Semavik.
Malaria (with the exception of chloroquine-resistant strains of R. falciparum): prevention and relief of acute attacks of malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax, R. ovale and R. malariae, as well as sensitive strains of R. falciparum; radical treatment of malaria caused by sensitive strains of R.
