Cholisal Dental 15g gel

Dental gel in the form of colorless, transparent, homogeneous mass with the smell of anise oil.

Excipients

: heterose – 20 mg methyl parahydroxybenzoate – 1.5 mg parahydroxybenzoate – 0.8 mg glycerol 50 mg, anise seed oil – 1.61 mg, ethanol 96% – 390 mg, water – up to 1000 mg.

10 g – tubes aluminum (1) – packs of cardboard.

Testimony

For topical use on the mucous membranes of the oral cavity as a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory agent in the treatment of periodontal disease, damages the mucosa of the diseases proceeding with an inflammatory response and pain:

— stomatitis of different etiology;

• gingivitis;
• periodontitis;
• damage to the mucous membranes of the mouth when wearing dentures;
• injuries of the mucous membrane of the mouth;
• the pain of teething in children;
• cheilitis;
• candidiasis mucous membranes of the oral cavity;
• small surgery in the mouth;
• lichen planus with the localization on the mucosa of the oral cavity;
• lesion of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity when Stevens-Johnson syndrome (in the complex therapy).

The dosage regimen

Holisal® is applied topically 2-3 times/day before meals (with the purpose of anesthesia) or after meals and at bedtime. A strip of gel with a length of 1 cm for adults and 0.5 cm for children squeezed on a clean finger and rubbed in with light massaging movements on the affected area of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity.

In periodontal disease, the gel should be placed in gingival pockets or applied in the form of compresses, or gently rubbed into the gums 1-2 times per day.

Side effects

Local reactions: transient stinging sensation at the site of application of the drug, passing on their own.

Other: allergic reactions.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to salicylates and other components of the drug.

With caution

the drug should be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under the age of 1 year.

The children

With caution should use the drug in children under 1 year.

When the first signs of side effects, the patient should immediately consult the doctor.

The drug should be used only for local use.

The product does not contain sugar.

Effects on ability to drive vehicles and management mechanisms

The drug does not limit physical activity, the ability to control vehicles and maintenance of moving mechanisms.

Overdose

Cases of overdose have not been identified.

Drug interactions

When applying Helical in doses, greatly exceeding recommended, may increase the action of other simultaneously used anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and painkillers.

Terms and conditions storage

The drug should be stored out of reach of children at temperature not above 25°C; do not freeze.

Shelf life

– 3 years.
